Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
We will need to see a photograph of your consumer unit(s) to provide an exact quote. This does not include the cost of any remedial works to achieve a 'satisfactory' outcome — older installations in particular may require work to reach the required safety standards.
New Consumer Unit
Before replacing a consumer unit, it is often advisable to have an electrical inspection carried out beforehand to ensure the installation has no hidden faults, and that the unit will turn on once installed. An inspection prior to replacement is at additional cost.
Light Fitting Installation
Call for quantity discount. When you book your visit, we will establish the type of fitting you want installed. Chandeliers and fittings needing a lot of assembly take longer and cost more. Downlights require cables extending and holes drilling, and must comply with up-to-date wiring regulations.
Electrical Fault Repair
Typical remedial works might include replacing switches, trip switches, damaged sockets or other electrical accessories. It is best to ask for a quote for remedial works once an EICR has been carried out. Sometimes more invasive work is required to repair a broken or damaged circuit.
Outdoor Socket Installation
Supply and install an outdoor socket to an existing circuit. The price assumes there are no existing issues and a 'straight through' or 'back-to-back' installation. Where sockets are required further from the supply source, the cost will be greater — we will ask for more information and pictures.
Security Floodlight Installation
This assumes power is supplied to the floodlight from an existing healthy circuit. The cost depends on the distance away from a potential power supply, the size of the floodlight and access.
Minimum Charge
Our standard minimum charge, which applies to very small jobs. When you contact us to discuss your job we can estimate the cost. In certain circumstances we will ask for photographs of your installation to give an accurate price. All quotes are subject to our terms and conditions.

Emergency attendance as soon as possible during normal working hours. Payable in advance at time of booking by credit/debit card or BACS. We guarantee to be with you the same day, normally within 2–4 hours or less, with an ETA and tracking link where possible.
